Halloween at the house of Black. It could have been a wonderful night, but not one trick or treater showed this year. I live in the country and very few ever come on any year, but this year it was as if the tradition had been outlawed. It makes me sad to know so few had the opportunity to enjoy my display. I hope I can move soon.
A beautiful display. Rest assured that it was not in vain- it is a treat for all of us out here and we can appreciate the work and passion that went in to it! Hope you had a Happy Halloween.
ReplyDeleteThat scarecrow is amazing. I would have totally came out if I lived closer.
ReplyDeleteI still feel like I'm waiting for Halloween. like its whispered breath never tickled down my spine. I guess it just means next year will have to be that much more better.
So sorry to hear that. Thanks for sharing your photos with the rest of us....it is a great haunt. Do not despair, there is always next year. Keep the faith!
ReplyDeleteCheers!
I enjoyed it, as my kids. Live in the myself, hit or miss with the trick or treaters. Not in vain at all with the web man.
ReplyDeleteMine was a bit crappy as well. Your efforts are appreciated by those of us who could see it in the blogosphere. You did a really nice job.
ReplyDeleteHey man, I'M enjoying your haunt. Thank you for posting pics online so that I have the opportunity to enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteActually, one of my friends was lamenting the fact that we had so few trick or treaters to appreciate our haunt.
Oh well, such is the life of the luminary.
We're the trick-or-treaters.
ReplyDeleteLOVE these photos.
Thank you all for the encouragement. I will never stop making things for Halloween, but I might not put them out for display if I live in the same place next year.
